On October 10, China Association of Circular Economy officially announced the list of "science and technology award of China Association of Circular Economy in 2019". 52 scientific and technological achievements were selected, including 5 first prizes. The industrial development project of new copper slag dilution and fuming composite smelting process and device completed by Fangyuan company won the first prize of science and technology award of China Circular Economy Association.  
  "Industrial development project of the new copper slag dilution and fuming composite smelting process and device" adopts the new copper slag multi-component recovery and treatment technology independently developed by Fangyuan company with completely independent intellectual property rights. This technology aims at the shortcomings and problems of the existing slag dilution treatment methods, such as the lack of mass transfer conditions of the electric furnace dilution method, the inability to recover valuable elements such as lead and zinc, the high power consumption and low copper recovery rate, the complex process flow, taking large area and high requirements for waste slag raw materials, the secondary pollution caused by waste acid in the wet leaching dilution method, and the difficult utilization of waste slag, as well as low production capacity, slow reaction rate and high cost, so a new slag dilution and fuming composite smelting process and equipment has been developed. Compared with the existing slag dilution production line, the industrialization application demonstration project of the technical achievements reduces the investment and floor area, improves the comprehensive utilization rate of resources, and improves the standardization level of circular economy in copper smelting industry. According to the review of experts, the overall technology has reached the international leading level.
